He will lead the board in the provision of advice and counsel to both the management team and key portfolio managers.

Joining Marcus on the board is Varda Shine (a Channel Deputy Chair and previously CEO of De Beers Trading Co), Susanne Chishti (FinTech board member and CEO of FinTech Circle which provides seed investments to new FinTech firms as well as providing educational programs and digitalisation acceleration to its partners), Lisa Gibbard (previously Chief of Operations, Technology and Business Transformation at Aspen Insurance), Duarte Pedreira (Head of Trade Finance at Crown Agents Bank), and Jim Sutcliffe (previously Group CEO of Old Mutual Plc, CEO of Prudential UK, Chairman of SunLife, Chairman of Cover Genius, and advisory board member of Certua).

He looked forward to Channel’s continuing growth in these markets in a technology-enabled fashion.  Marcus added “Channel has experienced exceptional product growth in terms of the provision of business finance globally, with recent team additions and management line-ups adding further firepower to its efforts.”
