Today marks the launch of something exciting we’ve been building towards for a while.
Channel Capital’s Emerging Leaders Programme is a thought leadership initiative bringing together the next generation of finance talent from the GCC and UK to explore the ideas shaping our industry.
Private credit. Asset-backed finance. Sharia-compliant structures. GCC market development.
These aren’t niche topics any more – they’re at the centre of how institutional capital is being deployed globally. And some of the most interesting thinking on them is coming from emerging professionals who are close to these markets, studying them, and building careers within them.
The programme brings together a cohort of early-career finance professionals from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UK to produce original, expert-level content made available here on our website and via our other digital channels.
Our CEO Walter Gontarek will provide quarterly masterclasses and co-author pieces alongside contributors.
Our first piece, a deep dive into KSA private credit by Ziyad Aljabr of Prince Sultan University, will be published shortly. Articles on asset-backed finance in the UAE innovation economy and women in Sharia-compliant finance follow shortly after.
