Channel Hires Erik Mermet as Head of Fundraising
Erik Mermet joins as Channel Head of Fundraising, based in our London office
LONDON, August 13, 2026 — Channel Capital Advisors LLP (“Channel”), an affiliate of Channel Digital Holdings and a leading private credit asset manager specialising in asset-backed lending, is pleased to announce the hire of Erik Mermet as Head of Fundraising.
Erik is a seasoned business development professional with nearly two decades of experience raising capital from institutional and private wealth investors across EMEA, North America and Asia. Before joining Channel, Erik was Director of Capital Formation at Stride Ventures and previously Head of Business Development at Goanna Capital, following senior distribution roles at Sarasin & Partners, Lombard Odier and Deutsche Bank.
Erik is a CFA charterholder and holds the CFA Institute Certificate in Private Markets and Alternatives, and a BSc in International Management from the University of Manchester.
Following recent developments such as the first close of the Corniche Sharia fund, Channel is excited to have Erik, with his wealth of capital formation expertise, joining us as we continue to grow.
