We are delighted to announce that we have closed a further significant Working Capital facility for a Singapore-based client.

Garment manufacturing is a major pillar of Vietnam’s economy and a significant part of its export trade. The sector employs a large, skilled workforce across more than 5,000 garment factories and 3,000 textile firms. A key output is knitted cotton fabric, used to produce T-shirts, polo shirts, activewear, sportswear, and casual apparel.

The United States is a leading global cotton supplier, growing roughly  14,000,000 bales of cotton a year across its Southern and Western states.

Our client is a Singapore-based trading house dealing in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, textile raw materials, and packaged food. It operates globally, employs a team of 50, and is pursuing ambitious growth.

We are pleased to support our client with financing for the sale of US-grown raw cotton to a UAE-based buyer, whose manufacturing capability is based in Vietnam. The transaction required funding across a long, multi-country supply chain. Our facility will be repaid through the insured trade receivable due from the buyer, giving the client working capital support while managing repayment risk.
